Client: Pennsylvania Critical Access Hospital
Funder: USDA (federal)
Amount: $60,000 with $10,000 match
Overview:
In August 2022, the USDA awarded a $60,000 Community Facilities Technical Assistance and Training Grant to a rural critical access hospital in Pennsylvania. The grant supported a facility needs evaluation and financial planning to modernize a 57-year-old building.
How We Helped:
We were honored to work alongside hospital staff to write a grant application that successfully demonstrated the hospital’s need, its plan for modernization, and the anticipated impact on the community. By presenting their case clearly and persuasively, we helped the hospital secure funding to bring their facility into the 21st century.

Impact:
With this support, the hospital was able to pursue a technical assistance provider to assist with facility planning which could then be used to pursue subsequent implementation funding.
